Born on December 31, 1968 in Eku, Delta State, Ebireri attended primary and secondary schools in Sapele, Aghalokpe and Eku.
The son of Festus Omajemite Ebireri and Veronica Ikpera Umukoro, Ebireri is a convinced Marxist, political essayist and a man of great charm.
He did A/Level in Government, Economics and Religious Knowledge in St Patrick’s College, Asaba.
In 1992, he received a bachelor degree from the University of Port Harcourt.
Ebireri also received a postgraduate diploma in Journalism from the Nigerian Institute of Journalism and Master of Science in Political Science from the University of Lagos
